Our house is very very un-clean. With Chris in his cast and crutches he is not able to help as much as he did before and it was such a crazy week (I was literally booked solid from Thursday night at 6 until Sunday night at 9:30, seriously) and so the hosue s really gross.
Chris left for Seattle yesterday, right now he'll be enjoying a Laker game. Then he'll be a busy beaver learning and studying all week at a preaching conference at Mars Hill Church. If you haven't listened to Mark Driscoll speak, you should because he is awesome. I really enjoyed the sermon on joy, I think it was in October. Anyway, check out his podcasts. Because Chris is gone I took off today (YAY), tomorrow a babysitter will come all day, Wednesday Gemma will come to school in the morning and in the afternoon a babysitter will come, Thursday is Field Day (track and field) so Gemma will come and Friday I took the day off. We have three personal days a year to use how we need to, so it is just perfect. My list of things to do:
Clean house!
Go to park with Gemma
Hang out with friends
Cross stitch
I know my list is way to long, but hope springs eternal... I am an optimist through and through. (Even my blood type is B+ ;) Perfect, eh?)
