I miss the sun.
The sun was out for 2 hours on Tuesday, January 29th. I have not seen it since. This is no joke or exaggeration. Ok, I know I should not complain about the weather to people in Saskatchewan but seriously; gray skies and rain for over 2 weeks??? How can a person function? It is 10 degrees out, which means our house is about 11 or 12. We have no furnace. We wear sweaters and slippers and are freezing cold all the time. Gemma has a space heater in her room, which warms it up nicely, but it is still so cold and miserable.
Here is what I have done to combat the weather: I packed away all my summer clothes today. Chris also helped by bringing home new bunnyhugs and sweaters to wear. Surely this convince the sun to beat down on us, if only to torture me for wearing wool.
