Nothing too exciting here.
I'm back at work. I mostly love it, except for it appears I left my brain on summer vacation. (If I left it at any of your houses while I was visiting, please let me know. Or perhaps it is one of the many things I left at my one week of camp) We had a meeting day in Taichung all day yesterday and it was really good. We got lots of work done, and saw the new construction. They tore down a huge section of their old campus (which was built in the 60s) and are building a brand new facility. Part of it is new classrooms/school stuff but they are also building new staff housing so that is exciting for those people. All the old houses were tore down, think Extreme Makeover Home Edition, but the size of the project means they won't be done until April. They've been working all summer on it, it was so neat to see 2 dozen workers spread along this concrete and rebar whale, building building building.
I unpacked one more bag from our move. One more to go, and then one more suitcase still from the summer (all Gemma's future clothes; thanks Baba!) We're putting up some hooks and getting things put together how we like them. Staging, I suppose. Hoping to have a productive weekend. Ha, I've said that before.
