It's true! Baby number two is on the way. We've suspected for a few weeks, but since Chris went back to Taiwan early and the last few weeks of visiting being so busy we haven't had much time to think about it. Then Gemma was sick the first week back here, and anyway... finally made it to the OBGYN and ta da! Here he/she is. Baby is set to debut the last week of March.
Not much to say except so tired. I'm exhausted. I'm tired from the moment I wake up till the moment I go to bed. Working this week didn't help much, I suppose either, after being on vacation for 9 weeks. But hopefully this passes soon. Since I didn't have any complications last time I am hoping this pregnancy goes just as smoothly. We haven't told Gemma yet, I guess we'll wait until its a little closer.
Must go to bed. G'night!

WOW, congratulations! We're so happy for you. Will you be staying in Taiwan after baby is born (will you be staying in Taiwan UNTIL baby is born)? And take it easy; you'll be worn out enough as it is once baby comes and you have 2 little monkeys to tend to, don't knock yourself out in the meantime.
Congrats! I'm so excited for you!
YAY CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!! We are so happy and excited for you and your family!!
I was exhausted my whole pregnancy with Matthew, I would get home from work and have to take a nap before I could cook supper. The first pregnancy was easier because I didn't have another baby to run around after. Chris is an excellent help and that makes it so much easier.
My only advice is to take naps when you can, you need it.
Lots of Love and Support,
Trina
To repeat what other Moms of two have said - NAP WHEN YOU CAN!! Sleep becomes extra precious once you have a toddler and a baby. The biggest thing I noticed was in the mornings, because with just Jared, he would nurse and then we would sleep together until mid-morning. Not so with Ayda. SHE would sleep, but Jared was up at 8:00 (which isn't bad, I know!!), so while she was nursing in the night, it was hard. Once she started sleeping through the night it was way better.
I am glad that this news is now public. I wasn't sure if I should tell people, but now I know I can! Keep your eyes open for the package...
PS - other situations are also hard, and take time to adjust to, sleep is just the front-runner. It certainly is motivation to get the baby sleeping through the night! Lucky for me, both kids did that at a fairly early age (6 weeks for Jared and 9 or 10 for Ayda). Take heart when all seems insurmountable - this too shall pass. And then you'll be on to another wonderful and challenging stage, right Heather!?!
Oh Nevada, congratulations!!!
I completely agree with with what Trina and Allison said. It is exhausting...already having one. I found it more exhausting during pregnancy actually. That being said though, you just do what you have to do and it's not so bad! One day at a time, rest when you can and enjoy your blessings!! And beautiful blessings they are!! I'm so happy for you and your fam! :o)
Now you will have to create a new blog. My suggestion for a name is "Made in Taiwan(or was it Saskatchewan) Part II(or if it was Sask, then no Part II)"
