Friday Nights

So we have this longstanding tradition of all getting together on Friday nights. It started with our close group of friends, the ones we came to Taiwan with back in 2005, and we always hung out on Friday nights until it was to the point of a sort of club. Friday night was the event of the week. And when people wouldn't be able to come we would give them a hard time, saying, "What don't you get about Friday nights?" Anyway, to present day...We still love Friday nights. The crowd has changed a bit and we are generally busier so there are always different people in attendance and people come and go at different times. We still make popcorn almost every week (we feel its our duty to educate Americans about dill pickle popcorn flavor and all its varieties...anyone else had the cheesy dill? pickled cowboy? Yum!) When the reality TV shows start Chris downloads them and we watch Survivor, Amazing Race, America's Next Top Model... We play games sometimes, if people have enough energy and brain cells after the work week. We've started this new thing this year where we order McFlurries to be delivered. Double yum!

So here's to a year of Friday nights to enjoy.
