I promised myself I would not give up and try to get my license on the next break. So the holidays came and I planned to go, fortunately talking Adrienne into joining me. We practiced in the parking garage under our building and both studied the written part diligently. (I wasn't sure if I would have to do that part again, since its been so long since I was there last time. I didn't have too!)
We showed up at the DMV early, because they have a practice time before they start testing and you can try out the track. Unfortunately because we didn't have our own scooter we couldn't practice, but we did try to watch and lear, and pep ourselves up (and avoid getting more nervous). We went back inside, Adrienne passed her physical and written test (100%) and down we went to drive... We were so nervous!!!!!! I went first, and made it halfway down the straight line part, and still had four seconds left! So I slowed down and held it straight, pheww...the hardest part done. I curved around the narrow u at the end and couldn't believe I made that! By then I was shaking so much but also so pumped...I was going to make it!!! I stopped at the red light, stopped for the pedestrian crossing, stopped for the train, and TA DA!!!!!! The end! I was shaking so bad and so excited, I could hardly sign my name. Adrienne was awesome, too. It was her first time and she did great. So we are both the proud owners of taiwan motorcycle licenses.
I would have been so discouraged if I would have failed again, so I am doubly happy I passed!
