The super-prego immunity has carried me thus far, but alas the super cold of '08 is upon me. It hit suddenly last night; fine at lunch, sort of weird after school and by 9pm stuffed nose, swollen throat, sore eyes... I hate being sick. I hate making sub plans (as I just posted) so I don't like to do sick days, plus I left Christmas concert prep a little late which makes every class count. Because Chris was gone this last week I came in late a few days, which gave me less prep time and so now my plans aren't ready for next week, uggg. Here's hoping for a quick recovery.
Chris is home, yay! That is a huge relief. Here's a huge shout of thanks to all the people who helped babysit this week and visited with Gemma and I; Melissa, Annabelle, Teecy, Ali, Adrienne, Andy and Audrey. We're so grateful.
Today we are going to a wedding of a friend who used to live in Kaohsiung with us, but now lives in Taipei. It's up near the mountains and will be very beautiful. Pictures to follow after the wedding.
