39 weeks...

..and holding. No signs yet. But the doctor said he hopes it comes this week because he's not getting any smaller in there. Up form 3100 grams last week to 3500 grams (8 lbs) And a nice round tummy. The baby is doing fine and I am fine too. Dr. Lee spent lots of time on our ultrasound yesterday because Brenda was there, so we got to see kidneys, private parts, face, ribs, legs...It's hard to see stuff now because the baby is so big. We saw the cord, far away from the baby's neck, we saw the aorta pumping in the heart. So cool! I can't believe this little person is living inside me like that. The belly is getting more conical and lumpy as it shifts from side to side and rolls over.

As much as I thought it would be early, everyone at school is praying for it to wait until Friday after the concert so I won't count on anything this week.

Ahhh, don't worry about the size. They can only make a vague guess at the weight. And even if he is a good size, you can do it! I pushed out a 9 pound, 5 ounce Baby Jared and came through it quite fine. And that was my first! I'm convinced I did it in the right order, though - his birth made Ayda's (at 7 pounds) easy, breezy!!!

I'm with allison, LOL! Kaitlyn was 9 and Ian was 7 - maybe he'll surprise you. :)

Don't worry about weight - it's the head size that really matters. ;) He'll come out sooner or later, just enjoy you last few days with only one!
