In very exciting news, we got a car! Our first in Taiwan. We did our first adventure tonight and went grocery shopping at a bigger place, Carrefour, than we usually go. It was very nice to not have to load up a taxi, and to be on our own. ALthough man oh man I do not know if I'm ready for Taipei driving. Chris is an excellent driver and he had a hard time with some things tonight: the tight spiral ramp up to the 4th floor parking lot at Carrefour, the 26 lanes of traffic converging into one giant intersection and knowing which way to go, one way streets, scooters all around you. Oh my. We'll see.

You just gotta get in there and you'll be a Taipei driver in no time! And they're so much more forgiving drivers over there than here.
