Hi all... We just got back from the first leg of our vacation. Wew ent down to Kenting (aka the beach) for two days because the weatherman said it would be hot Monday and Tuesday and amazingly enough it was. We both got fried. We swam in the ocean with the waves and the sun, hung around our room and read, ate at some nice restaurants and enjoyed being in 'vacation' mode. Then we went to kaohsiung, our old home town and did some shopping and visiting. The worst thing about Taipei so far is that we don't know where to find everything we need, so it was good to be in Kaohsiung where we knew where things were. We took a night bus home last night, arriving at 2:30 am and no we are home for actual Christmas. I finished my shopping for Chris this morning, this afternoon we are going over my principal's house for cookie making, chili dinner and caroling. Tomorrow my church is throwing a Christmas Eve party at my school, then Christmas day at home, just the two of us.
