Monday at home...

Today is Monday and I slept in until 9:15am, Hurray! The reason why we get this blissful day off is because on Saturday we had our track and field day. It was such a fun day, it brought back so many good memories of being in Valley Manor and going to the rink for track and field. We would have money for the concession, an exciting treat, and run around all day. It was such a good time. In grade 7 I won the track medal for the girls, amazingly enough. One of my (actually, my only) athletic accomplishment. And I found out I still got it; they had a parent-teacher race and everyone who competed got a point for their house, or their child's house. So I was at the start line and wasn't really thinking too much about winning, I mean there were like 30 people all running and lots of young, fit people too. And I haven't run in a hundred years. So when the gun went off I just ran as fast as I could to get to the front and I made it, with people right on my tail. And just when I thought I wasn't going to make it, they slowed down too and I made it over the line first. (It was once around a 200 meter track) So go gray rocks!
