Would you worry if...

...your elevator door opened and when you stepped out it was 5 inches down to the ground? Our elevator has misjudged the distance to the actual floor 3 times this week. Creepy! And if I knew how to phone someone I would. Hopefully this has happened to someone else and they phoned.

On another note; what color is a turkey????? I was so sure that turkeys were white. The ones my Grandma and Grandpa had were white with red warbles (that thing under there throat, someone help me out here with the terminology). So, because we are making turkey hats as our costume for the Thanksgiving concert in grade 1, I ordered 23 white ball hats. Imagine my dismay when I went to do some research about turkey costumes and only saw brown turkeys....AHHH! I had no idea turkeys came in such variety. I did quiz a few other teachers and some had seen white turkeys, so we'll just have to commit. I mean, really, if I put 23 kids up on stage wearing a white hat with big googly eyes, and red thing flopping down over an orange beak, singing about turkeys, people will buy it, right?

Should be cute!!

this summer we saw some wild turkeys, and they were dark black with the red warbly thingy....never seen any other turkeys, so i don't know what color the non-wild ones are....never really thought about it!

Turkeys are like chickes, they can be different colours. Red, Brown, White, Black, or a varitey of these colours. What ever colour you decide to use will be super cute!
