Facebook Silliness

Here is something silly; I have a friend request from an ex-boyfriend. Who didn't call me when I was in the hospital (or when I got home) after my tonsilectomy and then dumped me for his ex. The guy who made me swear off dating until I met 'the one'. Is it strange to add ex-grilfriends form over 10 years ago? Or am I strange for remembering that?

I am one of the dozen or so people around the world who have decided not to do facebook. So, for what it's worth, yes, it seems quite odd.

I find that with facebook, to some people it is a compitation as to how many friends you have listed. I too have had people that I went to school with but never talked to add me, or some that I didn't know who they were add me. If you like the person who added you and would like to know how they are doing, then fine add them, but if you don't really care about what they are up to then ignore them. What I really like about facebook is my family's stuff. I don't really talk to anybody on their but family. I like all our cousins pic and seeing what they are up to.

I agree with Trina - it seems that some people just want as many "friends" as they can get. Once you confirm, they never comment or leave a message or anything. Because of my experience with that, I have a couple of people still waiting for confirmation that I probably never will.

You are right... It is silly... It is neat to see what old friends are up to 10 years later but not an ex-boyfriend... You will not be judged by how many facebook friends you have only on how you treat your friends :)
