Sunday morning rain is falling...

..and I finally have time to sit at the computer. I've been busy at school, busy at home, and fighting off a cold. Sucessfully, though, so thats good. I've never actually held off a cold but as soon as I felt sick I took a sick morning and stayed in bed, that was last Friday, rested on the weekend, took my multivitamin regularly and some zinc tablets which helped a lot, and its the next Sunday and no cold! A little runny nose, but even that is better today. I think I gave it all to Gemma.

So Amazing Race in Taipei. Pretty cool. Gonguan night market is right beside where we live, we've been there many a time. Although when we go there isn't even a clown ;) All in all it was a little disapointing because the activities they did weren't particularly Chinese but still neat to see the street signs we know, the airport, and other places.

One more week of school then Chinese New Year Break. YAY! I love being a teacher. The plan is to stay close to home and not do too much. Just relax. Maybe some Taipei sightseeing. I can't believe that January is almost over.

In other news, I got a summer job! Well, a one week job. I am going to be a camp speaker at Ranger Lake Bible Camp, and I am very nervous but of course excited. It has been a dream of mine for a long time and so I am glad I am not putting it off anymore.
