Ahhh! We had a staff retreat this weekend at an amazing hotel at Green Bay, which is on the coast about an hour from here. We did the same thing last year but Gemma was so much more fun this time. She is a perfect age for the beach: totally into sand and water, and capable of walking short distances. I could carry when I needed to, but didn't have to. She of course had a ball.
I love hotels, and beaches. It was so great to get away. It's been super busy at school and I'm doing a pretty good job this year with my teaching and staying on top of things but the last week or two has started to put me under a bit. It's just go go go all day everyday and so the holiday slow pace was welcome.
