Happy Chinese New Year

Happy Year of the Lao Hu (tiger).

This break I did not preface it with a long list of things I want to do. My one and only goal was simple; to have a nap everyday. And I have been successful in completing my goal. Everything else I got done is a bonus!

The big job that HAD to get done was the office. The couch cushions were getting moldy (eww!) and since we moved here we have not liked the set up. It all started when the closets we have for our master bedroom didn't fit down the hallway into the new master bedroom. So we had to take apart the office closet and put it in the MB, and move those closets to the office and after all that FUN of moving we left them the first place they fell. As we got used ot the space we realized they should be switched places with the bookshelves, which of course would mean emptying the bookshelves, etc etc... ANYWAY. The closets and bookshelves are switched, and look great. It made a big difference in the space. The couch cushion covers are freshly washed and dryed (screw you dry clean only labels, ha ha) and the cushions have been liberally sprayed with lysol. There are two piles of junk and papers to go through, and then order will resume. Yay!

It has rained every day this week. But we are having a nice time anyway.

Chris and I had date night and went to the Van Gogh exhibit. So cool to see the progression of his work, and his drawings and paintings that are over a hundred years old. Amazing. Chris and I both really liked it.

Well, time to put the covers back on the cushions. Maybe those labels will get the best of me after all.
