The Help

Awesome book! Very nice characters and a plot I could hardly put down.

Its about a white woman in the 1960s southern US who wants to put together a book about the stories of black housemaids in her town. Of course, it is a terrifying and risky endeavour and watching the people tip toe around, wanting to share their stories but also not wanting to get caught was quite gripping. I won't lie, I was pretty nervous at some parts because I was so afraid what would happen to our lovely main characters if they caught. (Like do you ever catch yourself praying for TV characters? Doh)

I wonder when the movie will come out in Taiwan.
